What's it like? Livarot is washed in brine and coloured with annato to make an exuisite pungent soft cheese, rather like a Pont L'Eveque but with more aroma and flavour.
Where's it from? Made only in the Calvados region of Normandy this unpasteurised version is affineured by Jacques Hennart.
