This is the latest creation of Carwyn Adams, maker of the beautiful Perl Las Blue and Perl Wen. Proof that Golden Cenarth is a superb cheese is evident in that it had already won Best Dairy Product at the Soil Association Organic Awards and it has now won Supreme Champion at the British Cheese Awards. This doesnt happen by chance.

Golden Cenarth is somewhere between an Epoisses and a Vacherin Mont D'Or, and can be baked in much the same was as the latter to make a fantastic starter for two!

What's it taste like? Golden Cenarth is washed in cider to produce quite a mild taste when young but developing a stronger pungency with maturity.

Where's it from? Made by Caws Cenarth in Camarthenshire. Golden Cenarth comes in a wooden case and weighs approx. 250g
