This is a very French English cheese. Similar to an Epoisses but a bit gentler on the senses.

Its washed in Honey Mead to give it a gorgeous colour and sweet taste. Beautiful.

 

What's it taste like? Oxford Isis is washed in honey mead resulting in a strong odour and a sticky pale orange rind when ready to eat. Great mushroomy flavour.

Where's it from? This fantastic soft cheese is made by the Baron Pouget for the Oxford Cheese company. Oxford Isis is packed as a whole cheese of 225g.
