Neufchatel is as traditional as onion soup in Northern France but is more celebrated over here as being made in a heart shaped mould. This makes it the perfect expression of love and not just a cheese that should be shared around Valentine's Day but the whole year round.

 

What's it like? A lovely, ages-old, cheese from Normandie that has a pure, creamy and luxurious taste similar to that of a Camembert.

Where's it from? This is the AOC UNPASTEURISED, imported from Normandy. Neufchatel is famous for its heart shape and comes as a 200g circular whole cheese.
