Canarejal
Canarejal is known in Spain as a ‘torta’ and is made with ewe’s milk from the Santos family in the Extremadura grasslands. With a beautiful aroma and stunning soft centre, Canarejal is like cheese’s equivalent of the chocolate bomb! Almost Vacherin Mont d’Or like in texture, in can be spooned out of the rind like a dessert. Gorgeous and silky!

Wonderful
I have tried many delightful cheeses over the years. But none of them come near to this one. I will certainly be ordering more.

Very earthy and musty animal aroma, not to my taste. Don’t think ewe’s cheese is for me. Disappointed as not a cheese I had ordered but a substitute. However, you need to try new flavours to see if you like them.

Absolutely gorgeous – like a cross between a vacherin and a chocolate fondant (but not chocolate obviously!)
