The Ultimate Cheese Toastie

Ingredients
2 slices of white or brown bread
25g butter
75g Wyfe of Bath
Chutney of your choice (we like to use Sticky Fig Relish)
Ham (optional)
Onion (optional)
How to make it
This golden, melty cheese toastie combines creamy, nutty flavours with a perfectly crisp exterior—an easy yet indulgent twist on the classic grilled sandwich.
- Butter each slice of bread on one side
- Arrange the Wyfe of Bath on one slice of bread
- Add the chutney, onion and ham (optional)
- If you have a sandwich toaster, pop it in there for approximately 5 minutes until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted.
- If you don’t have a sandwich toaster, you can do this in a frying pan on under the grill
- Cut your toastie in half and enjoy with a delicious side salad
